With profound sorrow we announce the passing of David Horan of Ryan Group Architects on August 11, 2022.   

David lost a courageous battle with cancer at his home with his family by his side. He waged a valiant effort against an aggressive disease that extinguished his personal and professional brilliance a few days shy of his 56th birthday. 

While we all process the impact of this loss, we wish to reassure our clients that we always have and will continue to practice as a collective. We will be honoring David’s commitment to serve you with our best work and will continue our efforts on all of David’s projects to a level that would make him proud. 

David is survived by his wife Colette and his son Chase. Condolences may be sent to the Horan Family, in care of Ryan Group Architects, 10800 Donner Pass Road, Suite 200, Truckee, CA  96161. 

The extended RGA family will miss David’s passion for what eventually was taken way too soon from him — life.
